Wiktor Przyjemski: I Have Greater Self-Confidence
28.09.2024 10:4719 points – this was Wiktor Przyjemski’s result in the final round of the SGP2 cycle, during which he took 2nd place. However, that wasn’t the most important thing. The junior from ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin became the Junior World Champion. When he started his adventure with this cycle (in 2022), he was a great hope for more titles for Polish representatives. In 2024, he met those hopes and the fans’ expectations.
– In fact, I have been feeling the pressure and stress for two weeks already. It wasn’t easy, I’m glad that I managed to win the gold in equal conditions, in sports competition. Will I defend the title? I would like to, but first I need to qualify to ride in next year’s cycle – admitted Wiktor Przyjemski.
The 2024 season for the junior from ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin is almost perfect. He won the world championship title, is currently the best junior in the PGE Ekstraliga, and also the 11th player in the league. Along with his team, he will also fight for the Polish Team Championship title. – In these competitions, I showed the most important thing, that Wiktor Przyjemski can ride wide. This is something I fought for, I dedicated a lot of training to it. I have greater self-confidence, it’s visible in the league, I ride much more boldly – explained the new Junior World Champion.
After winning the semi-final race, fans already knew that it would be Wiktor Przyjemski who would win the title. They prepared commemorative t-shirts for this occasion, and president Jakub Kępa gifted the junior a golden helmet. – I was about 6 years old when I started riding mini speedway, and from that moment, coach Jacek Woźniak has been with me, so in such an important moment, he couldn’t be absent. I think he is as happy as I am because he has been watching over me the whole way, and we received this gold together. In the pit, throughout the entire competition, Bartosz Zmarzlik was also there. Congratulations from the world champion are also something great – he summarized.
