Every series must someday come to an end – this series by ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin ended after 399 days with a loss away against KS APATOR Toruń. The most effective player for the visiting team was Fredrik Lindgren, who scored 11 points and two bonuses. In the post-match interview, the Swede shared his thoughts about the match.

We are certainly proud of this winning streak, but it had to end someday. This happened in the match with KS APATOR, which was a very strong and high-quality team, with Emil Sajfutdinow, Robert Lambert, and Patryk Dudek in very good form – said Fredrik Lindgren.

Observing the game from the stands, one could hear fans’ opinions about potential differences in the way the track was leveled between various series. When asked about this, the leader of the current Polish Team Champions disagreed, pointing out another fact. – During one of the track maintenance intervals, there was not as much water poured on the track as during previous breaks, and this is the only difference in track preparation during the match that I noticed – stated the Individual World Vice-Champion.

Fans might have also noticed the Swede’s behavior in the 5th race of the day. Riding behind Mateusz Cierniak at the exit of the turn onto the starting straight, the 38-year-old made gestures that could be interpreted as encouragement for his younger teammate to ride faster. – Mateusz was riding his line in front, and I had some problems finding the right place on the track for myself. I’m happy we won this race duo-wise, we’ve had several opportunities to race together this season, I enjoy riding with Mateusz – summarized Fredrik Lindgren.
