Antonio Lindbaeck says “no more.” The Swede ends his career (photos)

According to WP Sportowe Fakty, via SVT Sport from Sweden and Norrtelje Tidning, Antonio Lindbaeck has decided to end his speedway career. The Swedish rider represented many clubs in Poland, including in the PGE Ekstraliga, and won several team medals in world championships internationally.

For the first time, Antonio Lindbaeck appeared on Polish tracks in 2005, representing the Wrocław club. After a year off, he returned to compete in Poland (Włókniarz Częstochowa). He then competed in clubs in Rybnik (2008 and 2011), Bydgoszcz (2009-2010), Gniezno (2012-2013 and 2022), Łódź (2014), Daugavpils (2015), Grudziądz (2016-2019), Zielona Góra (2020), and Poznań (2023).

The greatest successes in world championship tournaments, the Swede achieved in team events, where he won 2 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals. Individually, Lindbaeck possesses only a silver in the World Junior Championships (in team competition he also has a silver medal).

On the European stage, he won gold in youth competitions and bronze at the senior level.
