Jonas Knudsen extends his contract with NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Góra. The Dane competed for the team in the U24 Ekstraliga, which he combined with racing in the second-league Polonia Piła.

Knudsen began his speedway career in mini-speedway competitions and then raced motorcycles in the 250cc class. In 2017, he became the Individual World Champion in this category in Prague.

In the Polish league in recent years, Jonas has already raced for UNIA Leszno, which he represented in the U24 competitions, and in the second-league POLONIA Piła, to which he was loaned. NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Góra is his third club in our country.

Riding in Zielona Góra in the U24 Ekstraliga competitions is a very valuable lesson for me. I hope to be even more effective in these matches next year. But my ambitions do not end there; I want to fight for more – says the speedway rider from Danish Ribe.

Thanks to competing in the U24 Ekstraliga, Jonas has the opportunity to compete against ambitious young riders from top league clubs, which certainly promotes his further development – emphasizes the club’s sports director, Piotr Protasiewicz
