ŻUŻEL/NEWS/PGEE: K. Kasprzak, L. Madsen, and M. Świącik in the WP SportoweFakty Magazine (13.03.2025)

Krzysztof Kasprzak will not play the boss in his new job. Leon Madsen and Michał Świącik will answer a series of tough questions. More in the PGE Ekstraliga Magazine on WP SportoweFakty. Starts at 13:00.

Krzysztof Kasprzak announced the end of his sports career in 2024. We quickly learned that he wouldn’t fully retire and decided to assist Philip Hellstroem-Baengs. Initially, it was said that the former individual Polish champion would be the manager of the Swede. It turns out his role will involve many more responsibilities. In fact, he created a completely new team for the 21-year-old and invited Krzysztof Nyga, a longtime speedway mechanic who was ready to end his journey in the sport, to collaborate.

Without a doubt, failing to secure a permanent spot and wild card for the Individual World Championships was one of the biggest surprises of recent months for Leon Madsen. Does this mean the 36-year-old will never have the chance to compete for IMS gold again? Or does he plan to prove something to someone?

For the former Grand Prix participant, it’s not the only change before the 2025 season. He also decided to transfer from KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ Czestochowa to STELMET FALUBAZ Zielona Góra. What convinced him to ride in the colors of Zielona Góra?

With Leon Madsen, Michał Świącik cannot be absent, who has defended the Dane many times. The president of the club from under Jasna Góra will have to find his way in the new reality without his star. Is KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ capable of competing for more than just survival? Is Jason Doyle leader material, and can Piotr Pawlicki and Wiktor Lampart rebuild themselves in Częstochowa?
