Serious injury of Bartosz Tyburski. Possible end of the season for the junior of ENERGA WYBRZEŻE Gdańsk

In yesterday’s match between ENERGA WYBRZEŻE Gdańsk and TEXOM STAL Rzeszów, there was a serious-looking fall involving Bartosz Tyburski. It turned out that the junior broke the tibia in his left leg and possibly tore his cruciate ligaments.

The accident occurred on the second bend of the last lap. Not attacked by anyone, Bartosz Tyburski hit the barrier at full speed and was immediately transported to the hospital. Moreover, after this race, he was deducted points for riding on a non-regulation tire and was penalized with a red card.

– We cannot rule out the tearing of those ligaments. This will only become clear after the cast is removed and an MRI is done. However, it is most likely the end of the season for Bartek Tyburski, regardless of further tests – says club spokesman Rafał Sumowski.
