ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin defeated BETARD SPARTA Wrocław in the return final of the PGE Ekstraliga 52:38 and for the third consecutive time became the Team Champion of Poland. The Lublin team had a fantastic season, crowned with a championship. The Wrocław team, who did not ride with a full lineup for most of the season, can also be satisfied with the silver medal.

– We certainly have mixed feelings because if you’re already in the final, you would like to snatch the gold, but ORLEN OIL MOTOR is a very strong team. They controlled this match from the start. We tried our best, but it wasn’t enough. We are very grateful to our fans who traveled across Poland to support us. We thank the hosts for the fight and welcoming our team. This gold medal is another year of our very hard work, which results in finals and golds, so I am extremely proud of this fact and it only motivates us to work even harder. How did the president of ORLEN OIL MOTOR react to the third consecutive gold? – We really cared about the title and to keep the trophy in Lublin permanently. One offered engines to another, they were catching setups, so there was seriousness on their part. For us personally, fighting for third place would have been a failure.
