Wiktor Jasiński once again scored an individual result of 7 points. His team ARGED MALESA Ostrów once again showed its strength. The team from Ostrów, after a rather weak first series of starts, quickly changed gear settings which helped in a spectacular victory in the match against CELLFAST WILKI Krosno 55:33. The team strengthened its position as the leader of METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga.

The result of the player competing in the team in the U24 position could have been even more impressive. Jasiński was excluded from the first two starts, when he fell entering the first bend. The stakes of the match were so high that every player fought for the best result. – I really wanted to get that “three”, because I knew I had a fast rider next to me. Only once in my three starts, which I had in the first series, did I start well. Unfortunately, the race was interrupted and it ended with two exclusions. I really wanted it and it didn’t turn out as I would have liked. Fortunately, we calmed down a bit afterwards, found good settings and those points started coming – our interviewee assessed his performance.

The second part of the meeting was more calm for Mariusz Staszewski’s charges, but they had to maintain concentration all the time. – The beginning was tough, as the score was 2:9 at the start. Luckily we managed to finish with a nice score, which definitely makes us happy. It’s important how it ends, not how it starts, and let’s stick to that – said Wiktor Jasiński.

The speedway rider positively assessed the direction in which his form is heading. He is glad that its increase comes before the most important part of the season, on which everything will depend. Now the fight is being decided on where the Ostrów team will finish the regular season phase. One can say that the rider has finally found what he has been looking for since the beginning of the season. – Personally, I feel better and better on the motorcycle. I am satisfied with my results; maybe if it weren’t for those exclusions, it would have been the first serious double-digit score on my account. But I don’t want to speculate and I am most happy with my riding and my speed – he commented on his recent performances.

The Ostrów team has the last match of the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga regular round ahead. Wiktor Jasiński and the team will go to a match in Poznań. The team led by Adam Skórnicki is in 4th place in the table. The players are doing well despite many injuries in their team. Jasiński has a good strategy for the match against the #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ Poznań team. – We are going to Poznań calmly, because we have, as if assured, a place in the playoffs. We can, but we don’t have to. We need to calmly race, get good points. It’s best to win by 3, because points are always useful in the table until the end – explained the representative of ARGED MALESA Ostrów Wlkp.
