This season, for the 10th time, fans will choose the best among the candidates from PGE Ekstraliga and METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga clubs, who will compete for attractive prizes. Voting is open until September 8th (07:59 AM). Last season, the title was won by Karolina Szwajłyk (KS APATOR Toruń), but what did previous editions of the Miss Start Speedway Ekstraliga contest look like?

This year’s contest features 49 candidates from fifteen clubs of the PGE Ekstraliga and METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga (nominated by the clubs, excluding laureates from previous editions ranked 1-3). Due to the number of nominations, instead of 1 to 2 candidates per club, the number is 1 to 4 candidates.

The club from Rzeszów did not participate in the contest due to a lack of interest from their supporting staff.

In previous years, fans voted only for candidates from clubs that competed in the PGE Ekstraliga in that particular season. Titles were claimed by representatives from 5 teams, with the most (3) held by the supporting staff of the current Polish champions from Lublin. This year, due to the management takeover of the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga, the contest has been expanded to include clubs from the league’s secondary field.

Until September 8th, you can choose your favorites on the ekstraliga.pl website and in the Speedway Ekstraliga mobile app (Ekstraliga App). Voting is allowed only once per account.

Besides titles and commemorative sashes, the competition prizes include AZTORIN watches and shopping vouchers.
