Aleksandra Gucia (ekstraliga.pl): How did your adventure with speedway begin?

Filip Seniuk (MOONFIN MALESA Ostrów Wlkp.): My grandfather took me to my first match – I was only three years old then. I immediately liked it a lot and knew I wanted to become a speedway rider. Later, I met Mr. Piotr Baron, who advised me to start with motocross. And that’s what I did. I was later transferred to speedway by Mr. Kamil Brzozowski, and then I became fully engaged.

Last season you represented the Wrocław team in the U24 Ekstraliga and won the championship. How do you recall that time?

It was a very important moment in my career. I learned a lot and gained experience. Of course, not everything went perfectly, there were good and bad days, but overall I am very satisfied. I’m glad I could be part of such a team.

How are your preparations for the 2025 season going?

Very intensively. I first trained in Wrocław, focusing on physical preparation. Since January, I have been in Ostrów – we have three strong training sessions a week, working in the gym and on overall development. Additionally, I practice MMA twice a week. I feel that my form is improving.

You’ve already had your first rides on the track. How do you feel on the motorcycle?

Yes, we’ve started the first training sessions, and it’s going really well. I have the support of an experienced mechanic who helps me adjust the equipment. I feel increasingly better day by day – I have more ease, confidence, and control. It gives a lot of motivation.

What does your equipment backup look like for this season?

I have three engines – from Ashley Holloway, Flemming Graversen, and Mr. Jarosław Krawczyk. I am currently testing them all and will choose those that suit me best. I want to be well-prepared in terms of equipment.

What are your goals for this season?

My biggest goal is a permanent place in the league lineup. I give my all every time – whether in training or matches. I try to learn from every situation and develop as a rider.

How do you assess the strength of METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga?

In my opinion, the league is very balanced, which makes it extremely interesting. Anyone can be promoted, but anyone can also drop – especially now that play-offs have been introduced. I believe that it will be the club from Ostrow Wlkp. that will secure promotion to the PGE Ekstraliga.
