11 points and a bonus is Daniel Bewley’s haul in the second leg of the PGE Ekstraliga semi-final match. The Briton was one of the leaders of BETARD SPARTA Wrocław, whom he led to the PGE Ekstraliga final. In it, the yellow-reds will face ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin.

Wednesday’s match was a showcase of Dariusz Śledź’s charges. The Wrocławians had minor troubles at the beginning, but in the second phase of the match, they took control and won 50:40, and the score could have been even higher. Daniel Bewley fully completed his task.

– It could probably have been even better, but that’s not important. The most important thing is that we advanced to the final – he said after the match in an interview with ekstraliga.pl.

The match was postponed twice due to the threat of flooding in the capital of Lower Silesia. Ultimately, the Olympic Stadium avoided problems, but there were concerns about the condition of the surface. Fortunately, the oval also posed no troubles. – Recently, there were a lot of problems with water and flood threats in Wrocław, but the track was really fine and I had no objections. I hope as few people as possible suffered in the flood, but the track or stadium certainly did not – emphasized the Briton.

In the final, the Wrocławians will face ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin. For the first time in 13 years, the decisive match of the season will be repeated. Last year, the Lublin team was victorious, but this year BETARD SPARTA managed to set tough conditions for the national champions on the road and defeat them on their own territory.

– We will just go to the maximum of our abilities in this match and see what happens. We’ve beaten them once, it didn’t work on the road, but Sunday will be a completely new deal and a new day – he noted.
