Upcoming MAXTO ITS Individual International Speedway Championship named after Zenon Plech in Łódź. There are many favorites to win, but all eyes will likely be on Bartosz Zmarzlik. The world champion has been dominating these competitions for years. Will anyone be able to stop him this year?

Bartosz Zmarzlik will participate in the Łódź tournament with the second-best average in PGE Ekstraliga. In the 2024 season, he scored 2.419 points per race. He is only surpassed by Artem Laguta (2.462).

Bartosz Zmarzlik’s statistics in PGE Ekstraliga – average points per race:

  • 2015 – 4th place – 2.333 points per race
  • 2016 – 1st place – 2.477 points per race
  • 2017 – 1st place – 2.376 points per race
  • 2018 – 1st place – 2.574 points per race
  • 2019 – 2nd place – 2.410 points per race
  • 2020 – 4th place – 2.430 points per race
  • 2021 – 1st place – 2.649 points per race
  • 2022 – 1st place – 2.679 points per race

In the IMME tournament, no one matches Zmarzlik. Since 2019, he only finished third in these competitions once. He won the remaining tournaments, including the last one where he gathered a total of 16 points.

The Individual World Champion is still hungry for success. He surely has a special spot set aside for his sixth trophy for winning IMME named after Z. Plech.

Before the 2024 season, Zmarzlik prepared, among others, in Croatia. He took advantage of the hospitality of Jurica Pavlica. This year, he turned his first laps on the home track in Lublin, in the company of Mateusz Cierniak and Wiktor Przyjemski.

Let’s remind that MAXTO ITS Individual International Speedway Championship named after Zenon Plech will be held on April 4 at Moto Arena in Łódź. The competition will feature 14 highest-ranked PGE Ekstraliga riders from the 2024 season, the best junior, and a wildcard rider.

Tickets for the event (50 PLN regular, 25 PLN discounted, 150 PLN VIP) are being sold and can be purchased on the website https://www.biletynazuzel.pl/.

Discounted tickets are intended for children and youth up to eighteen years old. Only they are eligible for this type of discount at MAXTO ITS IMME named after Z. Plech. School IDs or personal IDs of those with discounted tickets will be checked before entering the stadium. The VIP ticket includes a parking spot and a program of the event.
