Ticket sales have begun for the MAXTO ITS Individual International Championship of the Ekstraliga in memory of Zenon Plech. A press conference was held in Łódź where we also met the title sponsor of the event and the wildcard rider – Robert Chmiel.

The tournament will take place on April 4th (events start at 19:00) at the Łódź Moto Arena. The title sponsor is the IT services company MAXTO IT.
During a special press conference, Adam Wieczorek – Deputy Mayor of Łódź, drew the starting numbers. Ticket sales for the event have also started (50 zł regular, 25 zł reduced, 150 zł VIP), which can be purchased at https://www.biletynazuzel.pl/.
Discounted tickets are intended for children and youth under 18 years of age. Only they are entitled to this type of discount for MAXTO ITS IMME in memory of Z. Plech. Before entering the stadium, school IDs or identity cards of persons with reduced tickets will be checked. The VIP ticket includes a parking spot and event program.
Let’s remember that the season ticket for the ORZEŁ Łódź matches in the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga also includes IMME. With a wildcard, the local club’s rider, Robert Chmiel, will compete in the tournament. – Thank you for the trust and nomination to participate in the competition. I am extremely grateful to the organizers and the club as the opportunity to race with the world’s best riders at the start of the 2025 season is an honor for me. Just last year, at this stage of the season, I was a second-league rider and didn’t think I could start with the PGE Ekstraliga’s top riders. At 26 years old, I face a life opportunity: I have a new club and begin the season with great hopes – said Chmiel.
The competition will involve 16 riders appointed by Speedway Ekstraliga: 14 riders according to their classification based on race average points after the 2024 season of Polish Team Championships, the best junior of PGE Ekstraliga in the youth races of the 2024 season, and a rider with a “wildcard” nominated by Speedway Ekstraliga.

Wiktor Przyjemski was included among the participants as the 13th rider of the PGE Ekstraliga 2024 classified, thus Oskar Paluch will participate as the next junior on the list.
Riders on the waiting list (they may be nominated to participate in case of injury of assigned riders, they are not reserves of the event): Jack Holder 1.978; Fredrik Lindgren 1.935; Maciej Janowski 1.903 and Vadim Tarasenko 1.861.
The accreditation process for the event has also begun. Media representatives can submit applications until April 2nd through the Accredito portal. Details are available HERE.
– We will try to show that the city of Łódź means something on the speedway map. These events will take place for the second time. Better riders than in the GP are competing here. It will be the best racing, just like last year. I would like to thank the city authorities for trying to keep speedway here – said Witold Skrzydlewski, president of ORZEŁ Łódź.
– A significant mission is being realized – not only do our teams in Łódź compete, but they also attract international events. We will host an important event. Speedway generates a lot of positive emotions, and the atmosphere is family-friendly – emphasized Adam Wieczorek – Deputy Mayor of Łódź.
– A prestigious event will take place here in Łódź in a month. Last year I can say it was a great success. The organization reverberated widely even in the world. The prestige is growing year by year. April 4th will be an exciting competition and the stadium will be packed.
