ŻUŻEL/NEWS/PGEE: Fredrik Lindgren resigns from FIM Speedway of Nations. “For most of the year, I am a speedway rider, but I also have a family”

Fredrik Lindgren is preparing for another PGE Ekstraliga season with ORLEN OIL MOTORU Lublin. Meanwhile, the rider has already revealed his plans for the end of this year’s struggle.

• The Swede has decided to withdraw from FIM SoN, which is scheduled in Toruń at the turn of September and October.

– Together with my family, I have decided not to participate in FIM Speedway of Nations 2025. According to the current schedule, I will end the season in September. After long preparations, and also due to the perspective of a long and demanding season, together with my family, we have decided that I will not take part in SoN in October 2025. For most of the year I am a speedway rider, but I also have a family, and this year I do not want to extend the season for Speedway of Nations. I wish all the best to the Swedish team – stated Fredrik Lindgren through his social media profiles.

In the history of the FIM SoN cycle, the Swedish team has won two bronze medals so far. This happened in seasons 2022 (Vojens) and 2024 (Manchester). The rider himself is preparing for another year of starts in the FIM Speedway Grand Prix, where in the last two years he obtained silver (2023) and bronze (2024).
