Young speedway riders, honing their skills under the guidance of six-time World Individual Champion – Tony Rickardsson and former Junior World Individual Champion – Max Fricke, received invaluable advice on riding techniques, starts, and speedway bike settings, as well as tips to help them pave their way to competing in top European leagues. The riders also gained a wealth of information on health and physical fitness, anti-doping regulations, and media-sponsor collaboration. Trainers also included FIM Director – Armando Castagna and Speedway Grand Prix Director – Phil Morris.

Among the 20 participants of the camp were, among others, James Pearson, known from performances on Polish tracks, and last year’s Speedway Ekstraliga Camp participant – Jordy Loftus. Apart from local matadors, the event also saw participation from riders from New Zealand like Julian Rees and Kadin Cracknell, or the son of former British speedway rider Aaron Summers, Senna Summers. A special guest during one of the training days was three-time World Individual Champion – Jason Crump.

Literally every element of their speedway craft improved, both their speed on the track and starting technique, so I hope everyone is as happy as I am because it was a fantastic event – said Tony Rickardsson on fimspeedway.com

Everyone made great progress becoming better riders by working on various aspects of riding such as technique, speed, and starts. They also worked on self-improvement behind the scenes – added Max Fricke, a BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz rider and Australian representative, in an interview with fimspeedway.com
