ŻUŻEL/NEWS/PGEE: Flash from PGE Ekstraliga (17): first kevlar presented, returns from training camps

The past week brought some interesting news and events to speedway fans. First of all, we learned about the locations of the final tournaments of the 2025 Individual Polish Championships – including two PGE Ekstraliga centers, which will host the best riders in the country. There were also non-sporting highlights – in keeping with tradition, clubs and riders celebrated Fat Thursday. Speedway riders are returning from training camps to begin the final phase of preparations.
This year’s final round locations of the IMP are Toruń, Ostrów Wielkopolski, and Częstochowa.
Riders from KRONO-PLAST Włókniarz Częstochowa were handing out doughnuts to residents as part of Fat Thursday celebrations. The same was done by the newcomer to PGE Ekstraliga, INNPRO ROW Rybnik, and ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin snacked while on the road.
Fat wishes were conveyed by BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz. Additionally, the club was the first in PGE Ekstraliga to present the kevlar suits for the 2025 season.
ORLEN OIL Motor Lublin concluded their training camp in Majorca. Meanwhile, KS Toruń was in Lloret de Mar.
STELMET FALUBAZ Zielona Góra completed their training camp in Gdańsk, which was part of the combined “60 hours with Falubaz” action.
