The 2025 season is approaching fast. Patryk Dudek currently has only one trip planned, a training camp with KS APATORA Toruń. Besides that, he will focus on local training. – Before we leave for the training camp in Spain, I will be preparing at home. I think after returning, I’ll continue training until the end of March in the gym, but we will start incorporating motorcycle rides – said the bronze medalist speedway rider of the 2024 PGE Ekstraliga.

In terms of goals for the upcoming season, our interviewee is consistently aiming to return to the FIM Speedway Grand Prix cycle. – Just like last year – individually for sure. The long-term plan includes advancing through the Golden Helmet, then world qualifiers, and the GP Challenge. A similar setup is intended for the SEC cycle. Last year I was knocked out, but this year I’m keen to participate – emphasized Patryk Dudek in an interview for ekstraliga.pl.

The Toruń club speedway rider is hoping for a good start to the season that could earn him a wild card for the 2025 PZM FIM SGP of Poland – Warsaw (May 17 at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw). Additionally, the prospect of the Team World Cup final in 2026 impresses Dudek greatly. – I hope that if the start of the season is good, there will be a chance for a wild card in Warsaw this season. I don’t wish anything bad for the other guys, but considering I’m the second reserve and looking at recent seasons, reserves often got to compete. I wouldn’t want to join this cycle as a replacement for injured riders. As for the DPŚ at PGE Narodowy, there will definitely be plenty of fans. These could be the best events of my career and at such a venue. To be in the team at PGE Narodowy, I’ll have to give my best this and next year to represent Poland – he explained.

At the end of last year, Patryk Dudek went on an extended vacation, choosing Japan as his destination. As he admitted, Asian regions are the places he frequently visits. – Asia is planned every year. This was probably our fifth trip in that direction. All these trips are packed, because you have to get up early and follow the entire day’s schedule. I do a lot of cardio then. There’s no boredom, and the views are stunning. I love the atmosphere and the openness of the people – said the 2017 world championship silver medalist.

In past years, one of the videos of the rider during training gained significant attention. It garnered millions of views on Tik Tok. Are such publications planned in Patryk Dudek’s team, or are the ideas spontaneous? – I remember we were recording for one of the sponsors then. We were filming with a phone on the side and my cousin in the team helped post snippets from the training sessions. It went viral and I thought about those people making money off it (laughs). Seriously, looking at the online environment, there’s a lot of hate, and I don’t want to let it seem like I’m doing two things at once, filming videos, and the results are affected. I don’t want to get involved in that. It clicked, took off, and that’s it. If something like that comes up and someone writes about it – that’s okay. It’s just a keepsake and it’s not planned – concluded the KS APATORA Toruń representative.
