This upcoming weekend PGE Ekstraliga will conclude its quarter-final phase, while METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga starts the semi-finals. Mateusz Puka will discuss this and topics of the next season with the guests of the WP SportoweFakty magazine: Michał Drymajło (president of TEXOM STAL Rzeszów), Daniel Bewley (BETARD SPARTA Wrocław) and Wiktor Lampart (KS APATOR Toruń).

TEXOM STAL Rzeszów was a newcomer in the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga in the 2024 season. The residents of Rzeszów ultimately took seventh place and remained in the competition. However, no one in the club hides that the goal for the future is to advance to the PGE Ekstraliga. Perhaps they will be able to fight for this as early as 2025, although there will be more candidates to win the second league level, led by FOGO UNIA Leszno.

Daniel Bewley certainly cannot count the current season in the PGE Ekstraliga as one of the best. Finally, with an average of 1.973 points per race, he is only in 17th place on the classification list. The main problem seems to be the inconsistency in form. Where does it come from? Is there something particular that influences it? After all, the 25-year-old managed to win a round of the Speedway Grand Prix in Cardiff.

Wiktor Lampart scored an average of 1.351 points per race in the PGE Ekstraliga in the previous season, and it seemed that the next year had to be better. That was not the case, and it is actually even worse. The 23-year-old is averaging 0.2 fewer points per race.
