The inaugural round of the 2024 Individual Polish Championships in Łódź saw a tight battle between Patryk Dudek and Bartosz Zmarzlik. The former emerged as the leader. Now it’s time for the second round – this time the competition moves to Bydgoszcz. The event starts at 7:00 PM. Broadcast on CANAL+ Sport5 and CANAL+ online service.

In the Łódź edition of the IMP, the points tally of Dudek was identical to that of Zmarzlik – last year’s cycle winner. The third position in the overall standings is held by Bartłomiej Kowalski. Just off the podium is Maciej Janowski.

The second round of the title fight will require more effective riding from the other competitors. Those with a significant gap to close with the previously mentioned top riders are: Dominik Kubera, Jarosław Hampel, and Janusz Kołodziej.

The eyes of local fans will be on Krzysztof Buczkowski. The leader of the Bydgoszcz team hasn’t had much success in these competitions recently. The rider didn’t score any points in the first round, but he knows the Bydgoszcz track like the back of his hand, which should be his advantage.

The wild card for the 2nd IMP final was granted to Wiktor Przyjemski. The rider from the youth team of the current Team Polish Champion has an average of 2.02 points per race. Last season, he raced on the track at Sportowa Street, where he performed excellently.

The reserve riders will be Mateusz Szczepaniak and Franciszek Karczewski, who represent the local team ABRAMCZYK POLONIA Bydgoszcz.
