U24 Extraleague: Final on CANAL+ Sport5. Dominance of Leszno players in individual classification
26.09.2024 13:59Only one match remains to determine the best team in the U24 Extraleague. Competing for the win in the training league are U24 BECKHOFF SPARTA Wrocław and ENEA STAL Gorzów. The first match ended with Gorzów’s victory 46:44, the rematch is scheduled for October 1st (6:30 PM) and will be available on CANAL+ Sport5.
72 matches of the regular season have identified two teams that are competing in the final for the win in the training league. The total prize pool is 500,000 PLN (300,000 for the winning club, 200,000 for the losing one).
The teams that advanced to the U24 Extraleague final are U24 BECKHOFF SPARTA Wrocław and ENEA STAL Gorzów. Wrocław was the best in the regular season, while Gorzów took second place and hosted the first match on September 10th. Then, ENEA STAL narrowly won and heads to Wrocław with a two-point advantage (46:44).
The rematch is scheduled for October 1st (6:30 PM). For the first time in history, fans will be able to watch the final on television on CANAL+ Sport5 and on the CANAL+ online service.
Gorzów has a chance to win the U24 Extraleague again. In the previous edition, they were the best, winning against the team from Krosno. In 2022 (the first edition of the training league), the team from Ostrów Wielkopolski triumphed (winning against the juniors from Leszno).
