Tom Brennan: I drew a lot of good conclusions from this season

Tom Brennan has had a tough Grand Prix Challenge event. The Briton finished only 15th and did not qualify for the Grand Prix cycle. After the event, he quickly assessed his performance. – I am definitely disappointed. I expected more. However, I must approach this realistically. The guys were better than me today. It is a valuable lesson for the future – he said.

For the Briton, this season was certainly good. Although his ENERGA WYBRZEŻE Gdańsk finished in last 8th place, Brennan posted decent results, being the 3rd most effective rider in the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga in the under 24 category.

– This season was very challenging for us. We lost too much, which was demoralizing for everyone. However, we all have to look at our individual results, and I think mine were good. I’m not 100% satisfied, but I definitely learned a lot and improved my skills – the Briton emphasized.

In the next season, the speedway rider will race for ABRAMCZYK POLONIA Bydgoszcz. As he pointed out, it will be an excellent place for him to develop. – Definitely yes. That’s my goal. It’s a great club with traditions. I’m very thankful to the Gdańsk club for this season. However, it’s time for changes, and I am very excited about the possibility of competing for the PGE Ekstraliga with ABRAMCZYK POLONIA – admitted Brennan.

The team from Bydgoszcz looks very strong before the season. They seem to be one of the main favorites for the coveted promotion. Alongside the club from the Brda River, others like Leszno and Rzeszów are also showing their strength, heralding another extremely exciting season in the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga.

– I think we are one of the favorites in the league. It will definitely be tough, but I know how much they desire the PGE Ekstraliga in Bydgoszcz. First, however, we need to make it to the play-offs, and then to the finals. The club and I are ready, but as I say, the league will be very strong and balanced. All teams look strong, especially FOGO UNIA Leszno and TEXOM STAL Rzeszów. However, what’s on paper is not the most important but the racing on the track, so everything is possible – concluded Tom Brennan.
