Qualifications for Lambert. Will the Olympic title fall to the Poles? (preview 2024 DEWALT FIM SGP of Poland – Wroclaw)

After a year’s break, the Speedway Grand Prix cycle returns to Wrocław. In the qualifications, Robert Lambert was the best, while Maciej Janowski and Patryk Dudek placed 3rd and 4th respectively. The main tournament is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM. The tournament will be broadcast on the open TTV channel and the Max platform.

Seven rounds of the cycle are behind us. The leader of the general classification remains Bartosz Zmarzlik with a score of 111 points. The runner-up, 21 points behind, is Robert Lambert. With 88 points, Fredrik Lindgren holds the third position in the classification.

The last opportunity to fight for the title of Individual World Champion in Wrocław was in 2022. Then, Daniel Bewley stood on the highest step of the podium. Following him, the tournament ended for Leon Madsen and Robert Lambert.

In the classifications, the fastest was the Briton who represents KS APATOR Toruń in the PGE Ekstraliga (14.824). The second starting number was chosen by Max Fricke (14.910). The third-best time was achieved by BETARD SPARTA’s Maciej Janowski (14.911). Not much slower was the wild card nominee Patryk Dudek, with a time of 14.912. The other Poles performed worse – Dominik Kubera took 11th place, Zmarzlik 14th, and Wozniak 16th.

The reserves for the 2024 DEWALT FIM SGP of Poland – Wrocław are Marcel Kowolik and Nikodem Mikołajczyk.
