The unexpectedly heavy defeat of EBUT.PL STAL Gorzow in Leszno caused the protégés of Stanisław Chomski to face KS APATOR Torun in the quarter-finals. Oskar Paluch does not attach importance to the opponent and emphasizes that the change of rival does not change the team’s approach to the match.

Paluch started his performance in Leszno with a good start in the junior race, after which he fell to the back of the pack and had to watch out for attacks from Damian Ratajczak. The 19-year-old defended a point, and after adjustments to the equipment, he impressed with his speed in his next race. He eventually scored 4 points and a bonus.

– The match was lost, so it’s a pity about the result. It was not a noteworthy performance on my part. I am happy with my second race because winning against Janusz Kołodziej is certainly satisfying. We cannot be happy with the result – emphasized Oskar Paluch.

On August 25, the team from Gorzow, instead of going to Grudziadz, will go to Torun. On paper, it is a tougher opponent, ranked higher after the regular season. – It is different, but it does not matter if it is ZOOLESZCZ GKM or KS APATOR, we focus the same way, one hundred percent, and we are going there to win – said Paluch.

– The last match in Grudziadz was good for me, but it does not mean it would be the same now. We performed better as a team in Torun. I don’t know which would be better – we are simply going to win – concluded junior of EBUT.PL STAL Gorzow.
