Oskar Fajfer did not have a successful match in Leszno. The EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów rider scored just 3 points and a bonus in four starts. After the meeting, he admitted that he couldn’t find the optimal settings for his motorcycle throughout the match.

In the heats with Fajfer, most of the action happened at the start of the evening. Leading Nazar Parnitskyi got involved in a battle with Martin Vaculik and the Pole. On the third lap, there was contact between the Ukrainian and the Polish EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów rider.

– I tried to ride close to the curb like with a compass. Nazar made a mistake because he started to drift out and then wanted to turn back, and we met. I had to adjust to avoid hitting him, and our wheels touched – explained Fajfer in a post-match interview with ekstraliga.pl.

– I struggled terribly. On the third and fourth laps, I started to slow down significantly. In Leszno, you have to get the settings right, and while we were better at the start, we struggled a bit on the track. We lacked speed – said the scorer of three points and a bonus.

The entire EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów team performed lackluster in Leszno and ultimately lost the bonus point. As a result, Stanislaw Chomski’s team will face KS APATOR Toruń rather than ZOOLESZCZ GKM Grudziądz, as everyone expected.

– We won in Torun, so theoretically it is better, but Grudziądz is lower in the standings. We just have to prepare well and go there for the win. I scored more points in Torun, so I guess I’d prefer KS APATOR. I do well there – admitted Oskar Fajfer.

The first quarterfinal match will be held in Torun. The match will take place on August 25, starting at 19:15.
