Norbert Kościuch: We lacked a good start in the match

The first play-off match of the National Speedway League ended in a defeat for the home team. Although last week POLONIA Piła defeated UNIA Tarnów, this time the team from Greater Poland was beaten by the guest team with a score of 38:52. Norbert Kościuch contributed 6 points to this total for the team from Piła.

In an interview for ekstraliga.pl, the speedway rider commented on his individual performance. He also shared his feelings about the overall team performance. – Ups and downs. I think the team felt the same. Tough competition. Honestly, I don’t even know what was happening on the track. It’s hard for me to assess everyone since after the first three heats, I didn’t see any more – he revealed.

The rider assessed what was lacking in this match. – A good start in the match – he admitted. Did they also feel the absence of Adam Ellis? – I think so, because surely the beginning of the match wouldn’t have been what it was now. So not in our favor, which actually set off a chain reaction – the speedway rider stated. Norbert Kościuch’s last performance on the Bydgoszcz oval was more successful. Was the lower points tally a result of the track changing in some way? – The track always changes, but let’s not blame the track. There were 16 riders and everyone had the same chances. Apparently, the opponent read it better than we did – the POLONIA Piła rider summarized.
