News from PGE Ekstraliga (9): Australia the winter capital of speedway. Birthday of Golden Szczakiel winner
05.01.2025 12:00In January, even though snow falls outside in Poland and most speedway riders are relaxing in warm (and other) countries, the first final of the Individual Championships took place in Gillman, Australia. These weren’t the only competitions happening on this continent.
The inaugural round of the championship was won by Brady Kurtz with a score of 18 points. In second place was Jack Holder (15 points). Third was Jack’s older brother, Chris (15 points).
On Sunday morning, Kurtz won the second installment of the championships, ahead of Keynan Rew and Zach Cook.
The new acquisition for the runners-up of Poland was also the best in the Phil Crump tournament.
