The impatience in anticipation of the season can be felt not only among black sport fans but also among the players themselves. Luckily, there is not much time left until the first speedway meetings. In this period, athletes focus on improving their fitness, training regularly. However, there is also time for pleasures.

Sunday, contrary to appearances, was not about speedway. It was marked by the celebration of a delicious occasion, which is International Pizza Day. Athletes also allowed themselves a slight departure from their diet on this day.

Others opted for a Sunday rest outdoors with family and building a bonfire.

After an intensive preparation period and group integration, the ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin speedway team returned from a training camp in Zakopane. This was the fourth such camp in the mountains organized for young players.

Some are preparing for the season in somewhat warmer conditions than our Polish Tatra Mountains. STELMET FALUBAZ Zielona Góra rider Leon Madsen trained on a bicycle under favorable conditions, enjoying the sun in Spain.

During breaks from training, speedway riders eagerly count down to the start of the season to find out what the year 2025 will bring for the best speedway league in the world.

There were also nostalgic moments. In Częstochowa, a meeting was organized with a legend of black sport – Józef Jarmuła. He shared his memories and experiences from the track with those gathered.

This week also passed under the sign of emotions, as on Friday we celebrated Valentine’s Day. The speedway world did not forget about this special occasion, and some shared good news on this day.

On Saturday, there was also a presentation of the KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ Częstochowa team. Many fans gathered, there were contests, interesting conversations, and many attractions for local speedway enthusiasts. Additionally, the new team captain for 2025 was also announced.
