In the 13th round of the PGE Ekstraliga, KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ Częstochowa hosted NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Góra on their track. The match ended in a tie (45:45). Mikkel Michelsen, who finished with a score of 5 points plus a bonus, evaluated his performance.

– I am not satisfied with this match. I am disappointed with my result. As for the team’s performance, in the second part of the match, we tried to turn it around, and finally, we managed to draw the match, which is still important for us. So, in summary – individually, I am disappointed with my result, but what we managed to achieve as a team at the end of the match is a big deal! Regarding the timing of the match, it was clear that there was a strong desire to get it done – the season is slowly coming to an end, and the reserve dates are running out, but after all, the track was equal for everyone – noted the Częstochowa team player.

This season, the Dane has an average of 1.712 points/race, which translates to 25th place in the individual averages ranking. – To be honest, this is a difficult season for me. I have tried many different solutions – I think I’ve tested about 20 engines this season! The season isn’t over yet – I will definitely keep testing. What I want to emphasize are my away matches, which I can assess as good, certainly not outstanding but satisfactory. However, at home, it is completely different – these starts are simply disappointing – he said.

After this match, the team from Częstochowa is in 5th place with 12 points. In the last round of the regular season, Janusz Ślączka’s team will go to Grudziądz. This match can secure their place in the play-off phase.

– I hope that together with the team, we will enter the play-offs and present ourselves well there. We have devoted a lot of time and energy to work and training, and I am convinced that even though things don’t always go as we would like, we will not give up – he added.

Recently, there have been many rumors linking Mikkel Michelsen with the team from Toruń. How did the interested party respond? – As for my future, time will tell. At the moment, I am focusing solely on the upcoming match and the fight for the play-off phase, and as I mentioned before, we want to be fast there and fight for a medal for KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ. That is the most important thing right now! – the Dane concluded.
