Michael Jepsen Jensen is a very strong candidate for the discovery of the PGE Ekstraliga season. The Dane once again shone with good form and scored 9 points plus a bonus in Wrocław, making a solid contribution to the good result of ZOOLESZCZ GKM Grudziądz in the quarterfinals.

A 10-point defeat is a result that was received with moderate satisfaction in Grudziądz. The guests did not come to Wrocław as favorites, but they kept contact with BETARD SPARTA throughout the match. Michael Jepsen Jensen admitted that the result gives reasons for optimism.

– I think it is a result that we could have taken in the dark before the match. The hosts are very strong on their track, so I think we have reasons to be pleased – emphasized the 32-year-old.

Unlike Max Fricke and Jaimon Lidsey, the Dane started the match somewhat slower, but gained momentum over time. Jensen recorded two individual victories, including a very important triumph in the 14th race.

In my case, it was better after changing the motorcycle. Now we just need to focus on the rematch. We can definitely make up for it, the team is motivated and hungry for victories. 10 points is not such a bad loss. I believe that at home we can meet this challenge – concluded the Danish rider.

The rematch between ZOOLESZCZ GKM Grudziądz and BETARD SPARTA Wrocław will take place on Sunday, September 1. The start of the first race, like in other quarterfinal matches, is scheduled for 7:15 PM.
