Despite dark clouds over H. SKRZYDLEWSKA ORZEŁ Łódź, the players from the city of manufacturers made it to the most important phase of the season. The coach of the sixth team in METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga looks forward to the upcoming quarter-final with great optimism.

Spirits in the Łódź team camp improved significantly after the victory over ENERGA WYBRZEŻE. President Witold Skrzydlewski’s plans took a backseat, and sports aspects took the lead. The Łódź team not only won by three, but also successfully introduced another junior rider. Alongside Mateusz Bartkowiak and Bartosz Nowak, Seweryn Orgacki shone. In the post-match Mix Zone, coach Maciej Jąder had kind words for the young rider. – I’m very pleased that Seweryn Orgacki got his chance and, most importantly, he took it. We have another great junior, and as we know, the more the merrier – emphasized the coach of H. SKRZYDLEWSKA ORZEŁ.

The first coach of the Łódź team explained the reason behind the mysterious closure of the players in the workshop right after the match, as they did not even go out to their fans. – The main point was that the play-offs are ahead, and we wanted to decide among ourselves how our track should look in the most important phase of the season. Recently, during the match against ARGED MALESA Ostrów Wlkp., we overcomplicated things, hence our closure. Getting to the play-offs is important for us, and that’s where the whole story starts anew. I rarely have the opportunity to talk to all the players at once. Of course, there are practices, but not everyone is always present. We’ve decided on what we will do next – explained Jąder. – I think starting the quarter-final at home is even better. I hope we spring a surprise. I believe in the boys; we have power, and they know what they’re racing for. It’s all in their hands. I just advise on what we can change in the bike settings. Of course, ARGED MALESA Ostrów Wlkp. has a really strong team, and in my eyes, they are a contender for promotion to PGE Ekstraliga. Anyone can be defeated, that’s for sure. As long as there is hope, we will fight until the end – he concluded.

The first match in the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga quarter-finals between H. SKRZYDLEWSKA ORZEŁ Łódź and ARGED MALESA Ostrów is scheduled for August 18 at 7:00 PM. The broadcast will be on CANAL+ Sport5 and the CANAL+ online service.
