What is the TWC?
- The Team World Cup was organized every season from 2001-2017. It was then replaced by the Speedway of Nations format (2018-2022). The cycle returned in 2023 and is held every 3 years.
- The first national team to win the TWC was Australia (2001). In the last edition (in Wrocław, 2023) the Poles were the best, ahead of Great Britain and Denmark.
- Poland has the most victories in TWC history – 9.
- In total, the most medals are held by 3 nations – Poland, Denmark, and Sweden (13 each).
- Individually, Jarosław Hampel has the most gold medals in his collection (6).
