Recently, the Grand Prix Challenge tournament took place in Pardubice, Czech Republic, in which Kai Huckenbeck participated. The German suffered a dangerous fall in one of the races, after which a shoulder fracture was suspected. However, tests showed that surgery would not be necessary.

The crash occurred in the twentieth race of the day on the second bend. The chains of the speedway rider ABRAMCZYK POLONIA Bydgoszcz came off, causing a slip. Unfortunately, moments later, Kevin Woelbert collided with him.

Huckenbeck complained of a headache and back pain immediately after the fall. Further tests at the hospital only ruled him out of the planned competitions in Germany, and he now has to immobilize his arm with a brace.
