Jarosław Hampel for another season at NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Góra

Jarosław Hampel is an incredibly titled, respected, and popular rider who will compete in Zielona Góra for another year. This season, as one of the leaders of the team, he contributed to the start in the playoff phase. 

– A year ago, I returned to an environment I already knew. I feel very good and comfortable in Zielona Góra. When I learned about the club’s vision for the next year and its ambitious goals, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. This was of great importance, so we quickly settled the details of the new contract – said Jarosław Hampel.

– Bringing Jarosław Hampel to Zielona Góra before the 2024 season turned out to be a perfect decision. Jarek proved on the track that he is worth trusting and betting on. He is a rider who still represents a world-class level, both in sports and organization. Working with him is pure pleasure. It’s a shame that this year ended with an injury, but I’m glad it turned out to be minor, and Jarek is quickly recovering. I am convinced that he will be our strong link again next season – said Wojciech Domagała, president of ZKŻ SSA.

– Experience, ambition, and professionalism have distinguished Jarek for years, and in the 2024 season, he was an undisputed leader. He is a rider who provides stability to the team. I believe his results next season will be at an equally high level – said Piotr Protasiewicz, sports director at the Zielona Góra club.

Jarosław Hampel has been racing speedway since 1998. He has nine gold medals in the Polish Team Championships. He has also won both youth and senior individual national championships. He achieved significant success in international tournaments, including the European Junior Championships, the World Team Cup, and the Grand Prix, where he was a silver medalist in 2010, bronze in 2011, and again runner-up in 2013. 

He is a rider who has been among the top in Polish speedway for many years. He competed with the Zielona Góra team for five years from 2013, achieving excellent results. From the 2024 season, he again represents the club from Zielona Góra.
