Jarosław Hampel after surgery: ‘Doctors’ prognosis is positive’

Jarosław Hampel is already after surgery on his left arm. The leader of our team suffered a fracture of the ulna and thumb in the first quarterfinal match against ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin. His fall occurred in the 13th race.

On Friday, Hampel was taken by ambulance to the Zielona Góra hospital, where he underwent initial diagnostics, and on Tuesday he had surgery in Poznań. The ulna was joined with a plate and six screws.

–The surgery went without any complications. Doctors’ prognosis is positive, indicating a quick return to full health. I feel good. I’m resting at home. Thank you to the fans for all the words of support and see you on the track-, he said.
