Jakub Miśkowiak moves to BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz
08.11.2024 20:54During this year’s transfer window, Jakub Miśkowiak was in high demand as one of the best Polish speedway riders in the U24 position. Ultimately, he landed at BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz, where he will spend his last year in this role.
Miśkowiak in the 2024 season represented EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów, where he became the 35th rider in the PGE Extraleague in terms of average race points. Earlier, for five years, he rode for KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZA Częstochowa. There, he performed much better and recorded the season of his life in 2021, ending with an average of 1.956 points per race.
We worked on this transfer for a long time, but today we can happily announce officially that Jakub Miśkowiak will be representing the colors of BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz. Acquiring this rider was our number one plan in the transfer window. Jakub has repeatedly shown his quality on the PGE Extraleague tracks, and we are confident that he will be a strong part of our team, as well as one of the best riders under 24 in the league. This season we lacked points from the fifth senior, so we decided to strengthen that position and are pleased that it was successful. We have a young and ambitious team, including four former Individual Junior World Champions, and we look to the 2025 season with optimism. We welcome Kuba to the team and believe this transfer will be a ‘bullseye‘ – said president BAYERSYSTEM GKM – Marcin Murawski.
