The ZOOLESZCZ GKM Grudziądz – KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ Częstochowa match has etched itself in the home team’s history forever. The Grudziądz team achieved what they’ve dreamed of for years – they advanced to the PGE Ekstraliga play-off phase. Jaimon Lidsey had an excellent performance. The Australian player significantly contributed to the victory over the Częstochowa team for 3 points.

This is an incredible story. At the beginning of the season, we lost Jason, and it was very tough. But then Michael Jepsen Jensen came in and did a much better job than anyone could have expected. Because of him and the rest of the team, we have the long-awaited play-offs – said Jaimon Lidsey.

The Grudziądz track was very hard on Sunday afternoon. Players from both teams noted that they hadn’t raced on such a hard track in a long time. – Definitely, but that’s good for us. We used the track to our advantage, which suited us – emphasized the Australian.

It is worth noting that Jaimon Lidsey has blended well into the team, even though this is his first year with the club from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.

I feel very good here. The atmosphere is excellent. Everyone is close-knit, including the staff, mechanics, and players. This is definitely one of the reasons why we are in the play-offs. On paper, we don’t have the strongest lineup in the league, but we make up for it with atmosphere and mutual motivation to win more games. I’ve had better and worse matches, but I’m very grateful for the support I receive when things don’t go well, it’s really helpful – admitted the Grudziądz club player.

ZOOLESZCZ GKM faces the challenge of riding in the play-off phase. – It’s a new game. We all start from the same point, which is zero. Everything is possible. Everyone will step up to a higher level. It doesn’t matter who you race against; you have to fight and win against everyone – he stated.

Jaimon Lidsey is doing a solid job in the colors of ZOOLESZCZ GKM Grudziądz. Does he feel confident about staying with the team for the 2025 season? – I definitely want to stay. As I mentioned, I really like it here. We’ve started our first conversations, and we’ll see how they go – concluded the Australian speedway rider.
