INNPRO ROW Rybnik officially concluded the 2024 season
26.11.2024 18:01The 2024 season in Rybnik has officially come to an end. At the gala summarizing the entire speedway year, officials, sponsors, and most of the INNPRO ROW team, who in September secured promotion to the PGE Ekstraliga, met together. In addition, awards for the Rybnik plebiscite “Sharks 2024” were presented.
The ceremonial gala took place in mid-November. As noted on the club’s website, due to other commitments, only Jakub Jamróg and Norick Bloedorna were absent from the meeting.
The best junior of INNPRO ROW in the 2024 season was announced as Paweł Trześniewski. The young competitor performed well throughout most of the season and showed particularly high form in both finals, where he scored a total of 11 points and significantly contributed to the promotion of the Rybnikians. – I cannot say that I won this league alone. I simply contributed points together with the team, and truly, we raced at a high level throughout the season. I am thrilled that next year I will have the opportunity to compete in the PGE Ekstraliga, which I will try to take advantage of – says Trześniewski to the club’s media.
The best player, however, was obviously Brady Kurtz. The Australian topped the ranking of average race points in the entire METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga, with a score of 2.402 points/race. – So far, it was definitely my best season. I am very happy that we won. We had great riders, a good club, so yes, it was a good season. I believe we had a very good relationship with Mrózek. I was very comfortable here and working with him. We understood each other well that I should not interfere with him, and he should not interfere with me. I think it is important to have a good relationship with your boss – stated the former speedway rider of INNPRO ROW and the main author of the Rybnikians’ success.
Meanwhile, the award in the last category, the discovery of the year, went to Rohan Tungate. – It was quite a good season. I was in good form, maybe not the best, but I felt I maintained it for most of the season. Finally, we achieved what we set out to do, accomplishing it in the last race was something special. It is certainly something I will remember for the rest of my career – claims the Australian.
Patrick Hansen could not be absent from the ceremony. The Dane, although he did not compete in any race in the colors of INNPRO ROW throughout the season, remained an important part of the whole team. – The result speaks for itself – the best team won. I obviously hoped I could somehow help the team, but I ran out of time. Yet I am very pleased because the guys managed to secure promotion and in such a style – said the new rider of H.SKRZYDLEWSKA ORŁA Łódź.
