INNPRO ROW in the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga finals! Extraordinary match drama in Rybnik

This was definitely one of the more exciting matches in this season of METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga. The semi-final full of twists was won by INNPRO ROW Rybnik, defeating #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ Poznań 46:44.

This match had a clear favorite, which was INNPRO ROW. The team from Rybnik didn’t need to make up any losses from Poznań, as they won there by four points, thus the pressure wasn’t on the hosts. However, it was on the guests, who fought for advancement to the grand finale until the very end.

The speedway riders from Rybnik confidently entered this match. They doubled the victory in the first race of the day, and after the first series, they led by two points. Antoni Skupień’s well-oiled machine stalled in the second series, which was taken advantage of by #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ, leading to a tie.

Next, the Poznań riders capitalized on their momentum and won the next two races first 5:1, then 4:2, which unexpectedly put them closer to the final. Before the nominated races, the scoreboard showed a tie again. A win by INNPRO ROW in one of them would mean advancement for them. The hosts secured four points in the fourteenth race and sealed what the fans gathered at the stadium on Gliwicka Street had been hoping for.
