The return quarterfinal matches of the PGE Ekstraliga are behind us. Results that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the very end and incredible drama created great uncertainty among supporters. Ultimately, the teams ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin, EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów, BETARD SPARTA Wrocław, and KS APATOR Toruń (from the position of lucky loser) advanced to the semifinals. There were also many interesting statistical moments.

  • Przemysław Pawlicki had a very good performance, being the most effective rider of the newcomer team during the match in Lublin. He scored 12 points, which was his third “double-digit” score this season. Interestingly, all were away matches.
  • Patryk Dudek and Robert Lambert had phenomenal performances, leading KS APATOR Toruń to the semifinals from the lucky loser position. Both riders already have more individual victories than in the previous season.
  • In the ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin – NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Góra match, there were as many as 6 warnings for both sides. This is the most warnings in a single PGE Ekstraliga match in the 2024 season.
  • Maciej Janowski helped his team achieve the goal of winning in Grudziądz for BETARD SPARTA. Interestingly, the captain of the vice-champions of Poland currently has the same number of first, second, and third places – 25 each.

  • Jaimon Lidsey had an unsuccessful match. The Australian scored only 3 points and a bonus in 5 starts. For the first time in his career, being classified and riding the entire season, he had a better away average than home average.
  • Oskar Paluch had a brilliant performance. Scoring 11 points and 2 bonuses, alongside Anders Thomsen, he was the hero of the hosts. The junior from EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów has a knack for KS APATOR. Against the Toruń team, he has an average of 2.000. His overall career average is 1.411.
