Daniel Bewley won the 7th round of the Speedway Grand Prix held in Cardiff. For the 25-year-old Brit, this is the fourth win in the SGP series in his career. Robert Lambert took second place, and Fredrik Lindgren stood on the lowest step of the podium. Dominik Kubera was fourth. Bartosz Zmarzlik and Maciej Janowski were left out of the semifinals.

The inaugural race was won by Robert Lambert. The Brit won with a significant lead over the rest of the field, which consisted of a trio of Poles: Dominik Kubera, Szymon Woźniak, and Maciej Janowski. In the 4th race, Daniel Bewley made a great maneuver, initially blocked effectively by Kai Huckenbeck but on the second turn of the first lap, the German was helpless against the attack of the home representative.

In the race starting the second series of starts, Bewley won again, taking the lead after a great start and holding on to the victory until the finish line. Maciej Janowski showed very good riding in the sixth race, managing to overtake first Max Fricke, and then Andzejs Lebedevs. The 8th race brought a lot of excitement, with Tom Brennan holding the lead for a long time, but at the very finish line, he was overtaken by Mikkel Michelsen.

The third series of starts began with the first victory of Bartosz Zmarzlik. In the 10th race, Maciej Janowski proved to be the best, racing from the fourth lane. In the 12th race, Robert Lambert won confidently, while Fredrik Lindgren, riding in second place, had to constantly watch out for the attacks of Daniel Bewley.

In the 13th race, Dominik Kubera won after a great start. Rather unexpectedly, Fredrik Lindgren, who had been doing well so far, came last to the finish line. Maciej Janowski secured his second ‘three’ points, winning the 14th race. A lot happened in the race concluding the fourth series of starts. Jack Holder won confidently, while Robert Lambert, Leon Madsen, and Kai Huckenbeck showed great racing on the track.

The victory of Lebedevs in the 17th race secured the Latvian’s advance to the semifinals. The start of the 18th race had to be repeated, and Maciej Janowski and Leon Madsen were warned. In the rerun, Fredrik Lindgren proved to be the best. Martin Vaculik won the race concluding the main round.

The field of competitors after the main round was extremely balanced, as evidenced by the fact that the difference between the leading Mikkel Michelsen and 9th Maciej Janowski was only 2 points. Additionally, the ranking of the top eight was determined by the FIM ranking. For the first time since June 2019, Bartosz Zmarzlik did not advance to the semifinals of an SGP round.

In the first semifinal, Fredrik Lindgren took the lead, followed closely by Robert Lambert. The Brit attacked the Swede throughout the race, and at the very finish line, managed to overtake him. In the second semifinal, Daniel Bewley won confidently, and an exciting battle for second place ensued between Dominik Kubera and Andrzejs Lebedevs. The Pole turned out to be better by hundredths of a second.

In the final, Daniel Bewley won after a great start, with Robert Lambert unsuccessfully trying to attack him on the track. Fredrik Lindgren came third to the finish, maintaining a safe lead over Dominik Kubera.
