The first away victory in the 2024 season for the BETARD SPARTA Wrocław team came only in the quarter-final match against ZOOLESZCZ GKM Grudziądz. – We are also going to Gorzów for a victory – announced Artem Laguta.

Jakub Keller (ekstraliga.pl): A clear victory in Grudziądz gives you a pass to the semi-finals. You must be returning home in excellent spirits?

Artem Laguta (BETARD SPARTA Wrocław): We are pleased with winning yet another match, especially since we claimed victory in an away game. And in such a crucial phase of the season.

You had a crisis this season. But you boldly announced that when the play-offs come, you would start winning. Are you proving that now?

Yes, we are confirming that on the track. We are very happy that everyone gave one hundred percent of their capabilities.

In the regular season, it wasn’t as good. What has changed since then?

Are you referring to the match in Grudziądz?

Yes, exactly. The hosts won 51:39 at that time, and you scored eight points and a bonus. You’ve had better performances in Grudziądz.

Sort of, but then, in the regular season match, I had significant electrical issues with my motorcycles.

Is that why your performance was like that?

Yes. Additionally, later I had a problem with the adjustment of the motorcycles, and it turned out the way it did.

You know the track at Hallera 4 very well. Has it changed since the time you rode with the Grudziądz team?

Not really. I can say it’s still the same as when I was riding here.

So, did you use any special, archival notes?

No. I set the same gears as always. Didn’t change much. And it worked.

In the semi-final, you will face the EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów Wielkopolski team. How do you see your chances against this team for the finals?

In the PGE Ekstraliga, everyone is strong. There are no weak teams here. We will have to give one hundred percent and go for the win.

But in the regular season, it didn’t go well for you. Especially in the away match.

Yes, that’s true. But we have to look to the future. We have a tough two-leg match ahead and will do everything to be the better team.

So, can we expect a good spectacle?

I hope so. We will make every effort to provide fans with many emotions. We won the away match in Grudziądz. I hope that after this victory, team morale will rise.
