The last round of this year’s TAURON SEC series is scheduled for September 21. The final arena of the competition will be the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów, and the organizers have announced the rider who received the wild card for the tournament.

The 22-year-old Bartłomiej Kowalski is among the most promising Polish speedway riders. Kowalski is the current bronze medalist of the Individual World Championships under 21, and last year he was a leading figure in the youth national team that won the World Junior Team Championship (Speedway of Nations 2). This season is his first in the senior ranks. Kowalski is a solid point for BETARD SPARTA Wrocław, as evidenced by his heat-point average in the PGE Ekstraliga – 1.848.

So far, the Polish rider has started in one round of TAURON SEC 2024 – in Debrecen, he replaced the injured Janusz Kołodziej. In Chorzów, he will have the chance to increase his tally in this year’s series.

The reserve riders for the upcoming round will be Robert Chmiel and Tim Sørensen.

Tickets for the final round of the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship 2024, which will take place on September 21 at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów, are available on ebilet.pl and speedwayeuro.com.
