Another Away Win for #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ Poznań. TEXOM STAL Drifts Away from Playoffs

The match of the thirteenth round of the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga between TEXOM STAL Rzeszów and #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ Poznań ended with an eighteen-point victory for the visitors. The man of the match was Oleksandr Loktayev, who scored the most points today.

The meeting in Rzeszów began according to the visitors’ dream scenario from Poznań. #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ won the inaugural race, but after two race ties, TEXOM STAL took the lead and this time they won 5:1, resulting in a tie on the scoreboard after the first series of starts.

Already in the fifth race, the hosts took the lead, thanks to four points scored by the Danish pair Nicki Pedersen-Jesper Knudsen. However, as it later turned out, this was the last moment when Paweł Piskorz’s riders enjoyed the advantage, because in the next race, Poznań scored a double victory. In the seventh race, they added another 4:2, and after the second series, they were already winning 23:19.

The decisive moment of the match was definitely the thirteenth race, when #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ delivered the final blow to the Rzeszów team and led by ten points before the nominated races. In those, they also won twice 5:1, which translated into a final score of 54:36 and a bonus point for the team from Wielkopolska.
