The collaboration between Gorzów’s STAL and the Center for Vocational Education and Business is intended as a nod towards the development of young students practicing the profession of automotive and general mechanics and opening new possibilities on the local job market.

The collaboration will be multi-faceted. We have much in common and will jointly undertake various initiatives to benefit students and the local job market. However, we already have ideas to jointly utilize our potentials for activities in the region, including the Polish-German border area. For some time now, CEZiB has been participating in a working group at Speedway Ekstraliga, where issues of technical innovations in motorcycles and potential changes are discussed – said Magdalena Łabuza, director of the Center for Vocational Education and Business.

Additionally, on February 14th, at the Provincial and Municipal Library an exhibition will be opened to commemorate the 100th anniversary of speedway sport in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

The anniversary exhibition will include, among other things, historical motorcycles belonging to legendary riders of Gorzów’s STAL, a large-format calendar, and a range of other exhibits showcasing the speedway backstory of the club.

The exhibition will be open from February 14th to 17th during library working hours, and entry is free.
