31.01.2025 15:58The Łódź club has prepared a big surprise for its fans for its twentieth anniversary. The old logo has been replaced with a modern logotype, bringing a lot of freshness and new quality.

During Wednesday’s press conference, new members of the management board ORZEŁ Łódź, Jakub Zborowski and Jan Konikiewicz, presented the refreshed club logo with which the team will compete in the METALKAS 2. Elite League in the 2025 season. The new badge of the Łódź team is characterized by simplicity, yet uniqueness. – Why the new logo? Because we have the twentieth anniversary of ORZEŁ, and it’s not just 20 years, but a longer history. We want to remind everyone of the whole history of speedway in the city, while at the same time refreshing our badge. We tried to keep those elements that are most important for all the fans who have their club in their hearts. We stayed with similar colors for those fans who might take this change negatively. I would like to ask everyone to look to the future openly and market-wise. In the PGE Extraleague and METALKAS 2. Extraleague, there’s a focus on chromaticity of logos, and during speedway broadcasts, the ORZEŁ logo was invisible, you couldn’t really tell who was riding. However, the new logo will ensure that everyone knows it’s Orzeł riding. Which one? There is only one Orzeł in Poland – Orzeł Łódź. Hence this decision – explained Jakub Zborowski.
Jan Konikiewicz assured in turn that with the new logo, fans can expect a lot more club-related gadgets, at a significantly higher level than before. – We wanted to bring a bit of freshness, quality, and more dynamism to this logotype, but most importantly, we are not distancing ourselves from the old badge. It simply goes into the archives, representing the nineteen-year history of Orzeł Łódź. For the twentieth anniversary, as we announced from the beginning, we will try to prepare as many elements as possible that will clearly indicate to both Łódź residents, ORZEŁ fans, and the whole speedway world, what has been happening in Łódź speedway – he started. – We want to move with the times, as you can see this logotype is quite characteristic, yet simple. It will allow us to use it both at various print levels and in gadget production, as we would like the merchandising this season to be on a completely different level – emphasized the Managing Director of KŻ ORZEŁ Łódź.
During the briefing, important words were also said regarding the season tickets for the 2025 season. They will be available for sale no later than February 15, but as Jakub Zborowski noted, the entire Łódź club team is working on making the offer as attractive as possible for the fans.
