Our interlocutor is not the only new person in the coaching staff of MOONFIN MALESA Ostrów Wielkopolski. A sports psychologist has joined the team as well as a new youth coach – Kacper Gomólski. How did Stanisław Chomski evaluate the increasingly common decisions of players to end their professional careers and start a new one as a coach? – The president builds the coaching staff according to his preferences. Youth has its advantages. Kacper Gomólski is someone who has practically not ended his career, he has only temporarily suspended it. He is capable of showing various qualities and techniques of this sport. I hope he will be able to convey his knowledge didactically, so it will be quickly absorbed by these young players – he explained.

Years of experience in the PGE Ekstraliga taught Stanisław Chomski what is truly important in developing young players. He identified two main aspects that are most important at the beginning of this journey. – Patience and consistency are crucial. If Kacper distinguishes himself with these traits, it will be beneficial. He must translate effective driving into the skill of conveying this knowledge. Sometimes what comes easily to a player does not translate into the ability to pass on that knowledge. A great deal of patience is needed, especially with the youngest novices, as the repetitive method of certain elements is extremely important – concluded the long-time coach of the Gorzów club.
