After the first semifinal matches played a week ago, it’s time for the rematches, after which we will find out who advances to the grand final of METALKAS 2 Ekstraliga. In Rybnik, local team INNPRO ROW will face off against #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ Poznań
In the first leg of the semifinal competition in Poznań, the guests from Rybnik came out on top. Thanks to the outstanding performances of Rohan Tungate, Jakub Jamróg, and of course Brady Kurtz, INNPRO ROW managed to leave the capital of Greater Poland with forty-seven points, which means they will defend their earned advantage at home.
In the #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ team, the greatest reasons for optimism come from Oleksandr Loktayev. The Ukrainian has become the brightest point of his team in the playoffs and emerged as the team’s sole leader. In the first semifinal, he scored thirteen points with one bonus. However, the most effective player throughout the entire season is Ryan Douglas, who will not appear on the track in Rybnik. The Australian is in the hospital where he is treating an infection that entered through a wound caused by a fall in the match against ABRAMCZYK POLONIA Bydgoszcz. A substitute will be used in his place.
In the regular season, the result between these two teams was 100:80 in the two-match contest. It is no wonder then that INNPRO ROW is named the favorite, especially in light of Ryan Douglas’s absence. During the June clash in Silesia, the result was 52:38. A relevant tab will be available in the Speedway Ekstraliga mobile app. The Rider selection will end after the 15th race.
After each round of METALKAS 2 Ekstraliga, voting for the Rider of the Round will begin on CANAL+ Speedway’s Facebook. Fans will choose among the winners of individual matches in a special post. CANAL+ will also announce who won the title in the given round.
