FOGO UNIA Leszno, after a difficult season full of injuries, has left the PGE Ekstraliga.

The eighteen-time national champions have retained the core of the team from the previous season and are determined to fight for a return to the top tier of competition in Poland.

According to Sławomir Kryjom, at the club relegated from PGE Ekstraliga, the risk taken this year has fully paid off for the authorities in Leszno:

– I think we played roulette this year by signing Ben Cook. I believe there are more players like him, and the transfer market is not as lacking as it is portrayed – said the managing director of FOGO UNII Leszno.
