Already on Sunday, September 8, the first semi-final matches will take place. First, at 16:30 fans will watch the clash between KS APATOR Toruń and ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin, and then at 19:15, we will move to Gorzów where the local EBUT.PL STAL will face BETARD SPARTA Wrocław.
Torunian will have a very difficult task as they face the current Polish Team Champion and a team that first easily won the regular season, and then defeated NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Góra by as many as 45 points in the double match.
The hosts, however, breathed a sigh of relief when on Thursday, September 5, the club’s social media revealed that the leader of KS APATOR Toruń, Emil Sajfutdinow, will participate in the first semi-final clash. ORLEN OIL Motor Lublin approaches this match in high spirits. During the 9th round of the Speedway Grand Prix, Bartosz Zmarzlik took first place on the podium, and Fredrik Lindgren stood on the second step.

Gorzowians have won all their home matches so far, while the guests from Wrocław have not been able to boast high effectiveness on the road this season. However, the play-off phase showed a different face of BETARD SPARTA Wrocław – they unexpectedly won an away match in Grudziądz and easily advanced to the semi-finals. Certainly, the absence of Tai Woffinden, replaced by Francis Gusts, still causes them problems, though without much success.
EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów also did not have the opportunity to utilize their full squad against the Wrocław team. Oskar Fajfer suffered a knee injury and will not participate in the semi-final match. His place will be taken by Adam Bednar, who managed to defeat Paweł Przedpełski on the track in the quarter-final match.
