We are ahead of another two matches of the fourteenth round of METALKAS 2. Extraleague. At the same time, the #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ Poznań match against ARGED MALESA Ostrów Wlkp. and ENERGA WYBRZEŻE Gdańsk, bidding farewell to the second-tier league, against INNPRO ROW Rybnik will be played.
The match #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ against ARGED MALESA is going to be very important in the context of the quarter-final pairs, as both teams from Poznań and Ostrów Wlkp. already have a guaranteed place in the play-off phase. Shifts may occur both at the very top of the METALKAS 2. Extraleague table and a bit lower – at the fifth and fourth positions. On one hand, the team from Ostrów seems to be a favorite to win this match, but it should be remembered that the team from Poznań won the first leg of this encounter and is defending the bonus point. And who would they like to face in the further part of the competition?
– We certainly will not be choosing an opponent for the quarter-finals. Our goal this season was to make it to the top six and regardless of whom we face, we want to achieve the best possible result and ride as many matches as possible in the play-off phase. The club from Silesia no longer has a chance to advance to a higher position, but they must defend themselves against the team from Poznań, which is the only one that can threaten them. The team from Rybnik is the clear favorite in this match, so it looks like they will finish the regular round in third place.
